The program of the gathering will focus on:

  • celebrating your journey thus far, honoring the way that has brought you to where you are
  • figuring out your current edge, task or question in your life that asks for attention
  • understanding your next steps and forming a deep commitment to making them

We will gather Thursday evening 6pm, have a nice dinner together, get to know each other and the place.

pioneer journey circleOn Friday we will work with the question “Where am I now?”. We will create space for exchanging and learning from personal stories. We will introduce and get acquainted with methods of essential talk and listening (council). We will also introduce tools that will help you gain perspective on where you are in your journey.

Saturday we will dive a step deeper. “Where am I really?”, “What is emerging for me?”, “What is calling me?”. You will spend time alone in nature to deeply connect with yourself and nature to find out your current edge, task or question in your life that asks for attention. This is in preparation for the space we will create together in the late afternoon and evening of this day. Then you will have the opportunity to create your own way to really step into this next stage of your journey, while witnessing and acknowledging the other participants doing the same.

pioneer journey people mixOn Sunday we will get concrete and specific. “What comes next?” and “What do I need?” We will also explore how we would like to continue supporting each other beyond this gathering and connection to the emerging community of The Journey Network. The weekend will end after lunch, around 3pm.

We are pioneering…
We are creating a gathering that is a great experience in itself and an entry/introduction into The Journey Network community and way of journeying. We want to develop a format that can be copied and scaled like the Generation Waking Up Wake Up experience and Art of Hosting gatherings. Your participation will be a contribution to this.

One day you finally knew
what you had to do, and began,
though the voices around you
kept shouting
their bad advice--
though the whole house
began to tremble
and you felt the old tug
at your ankles.
as you strode deeper and deeper
into the world,
determined to do
the only thing you could do--
determined to save
the only life you could save.
